Welcome to Gay Straight Alliance!

This is a safe place for anyone who feels like they don't fit in due to their sexuality and/or gender identity, who supports gay marriage, and who wants to support friends and others, and have a hand in making our school a better place for everyone.  Meetings are held on Mondays, typically bi-weekly (every other week), and we are always welcoming new faces!  We will talk about current topics, announce upcoming events, and take some time to share what is on each person's mind.  We see you and you are not alone!

Resources for LGBTQ students:

Students are welcome to use their chosen names and/or pronouns and can request this from their teachers.  Please contact your school counselor or social worker to help with this.

Changing clothes- students are welcome to change clothes in the health office or in the locker room they identify with.

Gender neutral bathrooms- are located next to the cafe (near the art wing).  You may also use the nurse’s bathroom.

HHS Gay Straight Alliance (Mrs. LaMendola & Mr. Babcock)- meetings are every other Monday in rm 121.

Civic Engagement Club (Mrs. Raybold)- meetings are every other Thursday in rm  246.
